- NTNick TobiasAug 20, 20251.0Unreliable and frustrating service. Packages returned to sender because the post office claimed they thought I moved. Never put in a change of address or returned mail and they took it upon themselves to do so without ever being informed to. Then yesterday a package was supposed to be delivered that was ordered through Amazon but delivered by USPS. They informed Amazon that “Customer has requested the shipment to be held for collection”. I never requested the package to be held and they again took it upon themselves to do so. I spoke to Cindy and the excuse they gave is that because the package was larger and with the road work in Myerstown they would have no where to park. I understand there is road work in Myerstown but it is not being done on my street. The street is not blocked and there is plenty of space to park. There were two packages and they are only 14 pounds each.
- BBBritt BSep 27, 20231.0Worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. Every single package handled through USPS I’ve had to track down for the last two years since I’ve moved to this area. I always receive a notification stating package was delivered and left in mailbox or front porch, when in fact it was never delivered to begin with. I was told when they receive the package from Amazon, they’ll scan at as delivered to my home, when in fact it never was. The best advice I can give anybody moving into this area, pay extra for a different delivery service if you can. USPS will either lose every single one of your packages or you’ll be waiting an extra 3-4 days for them to track it down. An investigation needs to be initiated at this branch.
