The first "Delivery Attempted but failed because driveway or front steps inaccessible" I have a long driveway that is completely open to the road with no obstructions. My steps are halfway up the driveway. The only vehicle that had been on the driveway was my husband's car in fron of the garage. My driveway is wide enough and semi circular that turning around in it is never an issue for FedEx or UPS. The package was delivery the next day to my mailbox. Yes, that's right a package that could have fit in my mailbox was marked that it couldn't be delivered to my mailbox which is at the street.. Yesterday I got a notification that my package couldn't be delivered after being listed as out for delivery. I looked into it through the USPS website. It states that the package is being held at my local post office per my request. I never requested for ANY letter, package, piece of mail, etc., to be held at the post office. When you try calling the phone rings 4 times then an answering machine picks up. You can never get a hold of anyone. This is not the first issue I've had. I was told by the "manager" that because I get rural delivery the way my packages, etc, are handled are outside their jurisdiction because the ones that deliver are contracted and not USPS employees and not subject to their rules and regulations on mail delivery. Wish I had known this post office was such an issue when I purchased my house a year and a half ago. I would have found a house that wasn't so rural because this is a joke. I'm glad I turned down that USPS job I was offered 15 years ago because they are trash for a federal agency and I've been apart of a federal agency before.

I picked up my mail twice during the last week and they never indicated there was a problem or that I was not getting all my mail. Between her and the woman that works the window, this place is run by miserable people.
