I was just wondering if your hiring policy is to get the nastiest person you can find. If so, mission accomplished! I usually like to ship here because of the friendly, fast service. The girl working there today was not pleasant at all. I realize it's Christmas and they are busy but she didn't even attempt to be nice. I was only dropping off packages and made the mistake of saying I was shipping. She nastily said "that's not shipping, that's drop off" after she already asked me for all types of information and never even looked at the boxes that were clearly marked. Well, Merry Christmas to you too, grumpy!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and competent. They knock out customer service requests with alacrity and even when there's a line, it moves quickly.

TLDR: everyone here is doing their best and they will always do their best to help you.
Like your average person I buy a lot of my stuff online. Also like your average person, I have to return a lot of stuff. I return something or ship something from here on average at least 2x a month and it sucks every time. It sucks because it's at the end of my workday and I'm exhausted and barely keeping everything needed to just exist as a human being together. Over the last few visits I've witnessed this team go from having 20ppl inside to clearing the entire line in less than 5 minutes actual time. And rn we're in peak holiday season. It's incredibly efficient and they work well as a team through volume and stress. There is one employee here who you can tell is burnt out, but she keeps showing up and will always explain everything needed to complete your transaction. Her tone is flat and direct. She is not kind, also not rude. She tells you what you need and is clear and moves on. Not all customers will respond well to this, but she also doesn't owe it to anyone to be sunshine and sprinkles. She does her job and remains calm every time Ive ever seen. And just like any customer facing job-- you see some wild nonsense. I get it.
Another employee here, I think Andrew maybe? Bearded and tatted guy. He is an absolute delight of a human being, is generally working from the computer on the floor and always is chill as a cucumber getting you squared away. He's helped me personally complete obnoxious Amazon returns when I'm on my last straw and I've seen him help ppl with everything from a shipping label to printing a stupid 50 page document that they absolute need and should have done it yesterday but couldn't. Genuinely, if I see him through the window before walking in, even just driving by, my day is better for it. This guy-- I cannot speak of highly enough of. Thank you (maybe?) Andrew. You don't know it, but you being helpful and warm has kept me personally from crashing out at least twice this year, and I'm sure you've been the highlight of someones day way more than that.
I came back to add after thinking about it more, idk what it actually took (a backorder you had to wait on, or someone high up enough to take you seriously to do something about it) thank ALL THE GODS above they finally fixed your damn door. It was MONTHS, several signs, and several attempts to make it stay closed before they finally came through for yinz.

I have been doing my Amazon returns here for a while without a problem. I went in one day with an Amazon return as always, and it had said I needed a box which I didn’t understand why -it didn’t come in a box. So the worker politely told me “don’t worry about it.” He grabbed me a box and took care of it. I went back a few days later to return the same item again and this time they said I had to buy a box. I tried to explain what had happened the last time and this employee said that he was the manager and that “ Their profits were down” so I had to buy a box. He was quite rude about it. I don’t see how UPS profits being down has anything to do with me -maybe that manager should self reflect on how he is Marketing and his customer service skills. But anyways, I had two more returns to do that said they didn’t require a box so I returned to the same UPS store in Monaca because it is the closest one to me sidenote for my returns that I’ve been doing in the interim I have been going to cranberry simply because I didn’t want to give this store my Business. So I go in with my returns and I am patiently waiting in line and there’s a lady in front of me doing an Amazon return with an actual employee at the register and then a employee decides to announce to the store that anybody with an Amazon return has to use a kiosk and that the registers are only being used for a non-Amazon returns. I asked him if I have to use the kiosk and he said yes, and walks away so that I am forced to use the kiosk, print my own labels, package it up etc. When the whole reason I’m coming here is to drop this off quickly and conveniently. I will no longer be using this UPS store. I will take my items to Staples where they do it for you nicely and without complaints. Sorry UPS Monaca-I’m not coming there so that I can do your job for you while you work on improving your profits.
