This location has seen my last dollar. I was just in to drop off a package and since I’ve been having problems with a 5 year old HP printer I began looking at replacements. After about 10 minutes looking at options I tried to flatten the learning curve by asking for help. When asked the gentleman if he could help me, I told him, “I’m looking to replace my MFP M283fdw. I absolutely don’t want an inkjet printer, I don’t print photos but I do want color and scanning.” His reply (holding his arms in both directions, and very sarcastically), “Well, there are all your options. You just have to look at the cards and see where you want to be price wise.” WHAT? IS THAT WHAT STAPLES PASSES OFF AS CUSTOMER SERVICE? Generally I just walk away from someone so ignorant. Very seldom am I as direct as I was with this guy. “That is the most disrespectful response I’ve received in many years. Not only is your response insulting, it’s obvious you’ve been trained very poorly. I’ll take my business elsewhere.” Staples, you’ve really soiled the sheets by hiring this guy. He can possess the highest technical skills, but his customer service and people skills are not just substandard, they are abysmal. As I sat in a nearby coffee shop drafting this review, initially I was going to omit his name, in fact I was so put off I didn’t even see it. Most of the staff wears a name badge, but he didn’t have one on. Regardless, just as exceptional service deserves to be recognized, so does this horrific example of how NOT to be a customer service ambassador. Although I’m now retired, I have taught customer service from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. This is the poorest example I’ve seen in many, many years. When I returned to obtain his name he realized what a colossal mistake he made. To his credit “Matt” offered me his card and admitted he “read the room wrong” because my initial, lighthearted question about what was making that annoying, grinding sound? He indicated it was a terminal monitor, but when I proceeded to ask my specific questions he assumed that was a license for his sarcastic response. Matt asked if he could help me with printers, to which I replied, “I won’t spend another dime in this store.” Staples, take out of this what you wish, but for someone as easy going as me to be offended, how many other customers has Matt pissed off with that attitude? Just wondering . . .

Went in because I was having issues printing at home. Staples Self service printer was actually giving me the same issue. Tonya was such a big help on trying different things to get exactly what I wanted printed. And also thank you to the girl working with Tonya for giving us a much simpler idea that was going over our heads. Lol Because of you 2 my vision came to life. Couldn’t be happier with my prints and customer service!!

The old lady in the printing area needs an attitude adjustment and better customer service skills.

Unfortunately the people here don't really work. They just want to get paid and leave. (I got in a store shortly after 7, I left the store shortly after 7: 50. In that time, I waited for the guy probably a half hour to fix the problem/ get it going again. The dude that was supposedly helping me print my job said that these printers aren't really meant for large print orders and that they need to be submitted online. He canceled it and then said we aren't going to be able to finish it tonight. He said maybe they could get it tomorrow or the next day but I need it for tomorrow. The office superstore is a joke 🤣. He literally canceled my job after it had a paper jam.
