This post office has been completely unprofessional and lacks communication. My mailbox was broken by a carrier. (Not the issue but root of the big picture) We couldn’t get a hold of the post office about replacing the mailbox to a better location. As far as we were concerned it was okay (due to the city and the carriers word). The mailbox was originally placed on a different street than our actual address. No one contacts us to tell us it’s not okay. My mail is held “as customer request” for almost 3 weeks. Instead of “NMR (no mail receptacle)” We were confused why our mail was being held and labeled improperly. Finally after going to the post office numerous times and waiting for assistance to get no answers as well as calling over and over every day till someone would answer to get no answers. The post master finally calls to inform us we were wrong since we didn’t have her permission (we have no idea the rules. No one informed us of said rules) She was very rude and condescending. Told us our carrier doesn’t run that route even though I watched her drive by the new mailbox after coming out of the back street from my house. She doesn’t offer to just change our carrier or anything really. We apologized for not knowing the rules but we were stuck since no one would tell us anything and it had been 2 weeks since we had received any mail. We still don’t have any answers and at this point having to move the mailbox back to a street that’s not even our address and hope we can at least get our mail and our packages shoved back into the box to be ruined or them left in the middle of our driveway on the back of our house because they refuse to deliver to our porch where we tried to place the new mailbox.

It was only a small letter, but the guy was super awesome and very helpful. Guy was very nice and cheerful and admittedly, I wasn’t in the best of moods. Nonetheless, I walked out of there with a big grin on my face. This guy needs a raise.

Slowest post office I’ve ever had service at. I was in line for 15 minutes with only two people in front of me. The man working the counter had zero sense of urgency, was slow moving and chatty. Instead of waiting on customers behind the people who are filling out envelopes he just waited and watched them write. Super inefficient post office location overall.
