- RRrellsperMar 14, 20251.0They open at 12:15 on Friday. So they say. I was there at 12:25 and the counter was closed off. I heard noises in the back and I kept calling for someone but no one came. Waste of time going there.

Cathcart Jr.Aug 11, 20163.0Franklintown is a town with a very small population of less than six hundred residents and so there isn't postal delivery to the residents, as a resident you need to rent a Post Office Box to receive mail either for a length of six months or a year and the price isn't cheap it's steep. Lately the Postal Service chose to train new employees at the Franklintown Post Office and it created quite a few issues such as the unsupervised employee in training didn't notify or remind P.O. Box renters that payment for their box rent was due and the renters couldn't get their mail as it was held and they had to ask the Postal Employee for their mail for others their mail was returned to sender. The other issue the US Flag was not on flagpole during operation hours and you don't have 24 hour access to your mailbox so once the post office is closed you can't get your mail until the next business day when it reopens.
