We hereby formally raise a serious complaint regarding the conduct of staff at your Staples branch.
On the date in question, our driver attended your store seeking basic assistance with printing documents, as his limited proficiency in English prevents him from independently navigating such services. Despite this reasonable request, a female employee categorically refused to provide assistance and incorrectly stated that the store does not print .doc documents—an assertion that is demonstrably false and in direct contradiction with your publicly stated services and policies.
This refusal not only constitutes a failure to provide advertised services, but also reflects a concerning lack of professionalism, diligence, and adherence to company standards. Furthermore, the employee’s dismissive and hostile manner of communication was entirely unacceptable, displaying clear disregard for basic customer service obligations and potentially raising concerns regarding discriminatory treatment based on language ability.
Such conduct exposes your business to reputational harm and potential legal scrutiny, particularly in relation to misleading service representations and unequal treatment of customers.
We expect a prompt explanation of this incident, clarification of your store’s actual service policies, and confirmation of corrective measures taken to prevent recurrence.
Failure to address this matter adequately may result in further escalation.
