I never needed an appointment just to mail a lot out, especially if it’s certified mail or overnight and then having to go to another post office at this point I might as well just go to the UPS store somewhere instead of using United States Postal Service services

There was a person sleeping on the floor of this post office in the lobby, and apparently this is allowed. I wonder where they are using the restroom and can imagine that this might be a problem for customers of the USPS having to navigate if there's a slip and fall on bodily fluids perhaps. I would also like clarification regarding legal liability. If an incident were to occur requiring medical treatment or insurance claims (particularly one arising from the building being used as an overnight shelter), I wonder where responsibility would lie. Insurance coverage is typically intended for operational risks, not unmanaged overnight occupancy. It seems that USPS, as the property operator, bears responsibility for maintaining safe and sanitary conditions for customers using the facility. I am new to the area and had expected this location to be safe for evening access. It is disappointing to feel unable to use the services confidently due to these concerns.

I visited the USPS location in Exton, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, January 28th, at approximately 3:40 PM, to ship a package for my business. While I do not ship items frequently, I arrived prepared to follow instructions and asked for guidance where needed. Prior to the incident, my interaction with this employee was entirely friendly and professional. I greeted him with a smile, asked how his day was, and thanked him for his assistance. At no point was I rude, dismissive, or confrontational. Unfortunately, when I misunderstood how to place the shipping labels, instead of calmly correcting me, the employee raised his voice, made a public scene, and embarrassed me in front of other customers and staff. This reaction was entirely unnecessary and inappropriate. What I found most troubling was that the employee addressed me as “baby doll” and then dismissed me by saying to “forget about it” while taking over the task himself. As a professional woman working for an international organization, I found this language condescending, disrespectful, and wholly unacceptable in a workplace setting. I was taken aback in the moment and did not respond; however, upon reflection, this interaction fell far below the standards of professionalism and courtesy that customers should expect. No apology was offered at any point. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no customer should feel belittled, embarrassed, or disrespected when simply asking for assistance.

I had a confirmed passport appointment and all my documents ready. After taking time off work and arriving at the facility, I was informed that all appointments for the week had been canceled—without any prior notice. This is extremely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for people’s time.
