Head down and with no response, he reaches for my package. He goes through the steps needed so that I may then insert my card for payment. Only then does he make eye contact and says, in a robotic, impersonal manner, “Will there be anything else?” No thank you or have a nice day. Common courtesy and the appreciation of having a federal job are certainly lacking in this employee.
