I went in on a Sunday afternoon. The two women I spoke with were very helpful. I was out of there in under 15 minutes.

Went to take an Amazon return. Line was 10 people deep. The very nice woman was trying to help each customer but she has to scan the QR, package the item, print a sticker to label the item and then print a tracking receipt for each person. If they have multiple items, it lengthens the process. In addition, and this is the true frustration, when other customers wanted to check out, she had to abandon the Amazon line and help them.
So while waiting in line, I called the store. A manager (I anssume) answered and I asked if someone could please come and help her. He said there is only one computer allocated to handle the Amazon returns. When I brought up her helping other purchasing customers, he said I can see her; there is no one in line. Did this discount the people she had already checked out while all the people in front of me waited their Amazon turn? I’d had already seen her help 2 people who were checking out. Then she would go back to helping the Amazon people. He said if she had customers, he would come help her. Sure enough, when a customer walked up 3-4 minutes later he came out to assist that customer. (Pretty darn sure he did this only because I called and he knew I was watching). When finished he immediately went back to the office with the large window.
I waited in line for 20 minutes. When it was my turn, I told her she was doing a good job and that it was unfortunate that she didn’t have help. She said it would be nice to have someone consistently there to assist the purchasing customers. She said this is just how it is set up. This is NOT her fault in any way, it’s managements fault. She was not in any way critical of them.
How incredibly idiotic is this system? Why can’t another person do the packaging while she is getting the label ready to speed up this process? And why can’t he or another employee stay up at the front for the people purchasing items. If you are going to advertise as an Amazon return center, make it work efficiently. If not, don’t take Amazon returns.
While in this lengthy line, I also noticed the guy in the printing department was also swamped and that customers there were also getting frustrated. No one came to help him.
Seems like sheer laziness on the part of the mgr - its an inefficient store with an inefficient policy.

The store's staff, and all other Staples I have gone too, are constantly busy dealing with amazon returns and don't have time to help customers with finding the right product or answering their questions. The store might as well just be an Amazon return center.

Terrible experience.. Went to get a desk calender and found a nice 1 CLEARLY marked $11.99.. Looked around some more, found a few deals in the clearance section.. Half of the stuff was not marked. So I go to check out and the total seemed high, and I noticed an item for $28 and it ended up being the calender.. So I explained where I found it, with the clearly marked price, and 2 more calenders that were still attached to this hook with a price tag for $11.99. The manager straight up REFUSED to honor the price bc they are doing price changes and he said that they didnt get to that section yet.. Bullshit..
