We got to the Denver Post Office at 4:00 pm today. They close at 4:30. I work until 3:30 so that is the earliest I could make it. I was trying to send two boxes to my son who is in the army in Germany. When we approached the desk and told the man what we wanted to do his reply was “and you came in at 4:00?” We told him that we work until 3:30. He then very rudely started to “help” us. When we first got there I also told him that we needed a little help with the form. He then says “and you don’t even have the form completely filled out”. I said “I told you that we needed a little help”. He then proceeds to call out to the two people in line that they should go to another post office because it’s gonna be a while. We took our boxes and left. I don’t understand why this man is working in customer service. I had the form mostly filled out. There were a few things I had a question about. It would have taken him about 10 minutes to help us. Management really needs to evaluate him and maybe move him to the back where he doesn’t need to deal with people. I did call and spoke with the manager there. She was very nice and listened to my complaint. I hope that she follows through with speaking to the employee.

Postal worker illegally cut my package open. Sent a package to my mom from Colorado containing a tshirt, candle and some other misc items I had gotten her as gifts. It appears as if the delivery driver took it upon themselves to cut the box open because they probably thought there was weed in there due to the Colorado address. This is completely unacceptable. If you suspect my package for something, fine, but it needs to go through the proper inspection process and be taped back up when you're done with it. Your driver had no right to cut this box open the way they did and it is illegal to tamper with people's mail.

    Great. But odd open times.
