I went there today with my 3 year old daughter who was really excited to mail our holiday cards out. We waited about 10 min in line, and my daughter excitedly and with a huge smile slid our cards (which were addressed and stamped) across the desk to the woman working. The woman said to me “you know you could’ve just mailed these in the box?” I said “Oh.. I know, she just gets a kick out of coming in and mailing her cards.” She has previously had positive interactions with postal workers who would smile and give her a lollipop. The woman proceeded to frown and slid the cards back across the desk and said we can drop them in the box over there. I was shocked, and my daughter was sad and deflated. I couldn’t believe someone could be so clueless about how to interact with a child and understand that we clearly know how to mail a card - it was about wanting to have a positive and fun experience at our local post office. The man behind us in line looked totally shocked too and offered an apologetic smile and shook his head. It is one thing to be rude to me but to be rude to my child is a different thing. I needed this woman’s supervisors to know this happened. Please do better. And for our community members, if you want to meet the Grinch this holiday season, you can find her at the post office in Cornwall.

Worse post office I ever been to. My wife and I have been harassed about bringing prepaid packages to them just because they don't want to do thier job. Also I witnessed other customers being harassed thier as well.

I don't understand these negative reviews. I have had a PO Box here for about 15 years now. These ladies have gone out of their way to be helpful to me - since I can't get there as often as I need to. They hold my "overflow" mail in a bin for me, and retrieve it at the window and never complain about doing so, even though, they really don't have to. They are always friendly and helpful.
