- CCChristyFeb 12, 20261.0Mail delivery and pick up has not been being provided more and more over the last year. Countless times the outbound mail in the mailbox with the flag up is never picked-up for 3 or more days minimum and this does not count over a weekend. Do not even bother to put out mail or even check mail on a Saturday because they simply do not even deliver/pickup on Saturday. When they do actually deliver the mail they will not even attempt to deliver a package to your door or even leave it on your property. They just leave a note in your mailbox (if they even stopped at your mailbox) saying they attempted to deliver but you weren’t home. This is completely false and the camera footage confirms this. We are here all day and they never come to the door and it’s only a 25 foot level walk from the driveway. We are constantly missing mail and getting other households’ mail. From replacement credit cards, to tax documents and more, so much of our mail never gets delivered. Packages that are way too big to go in a mailbox are smashed into the mailbox, damaging the product and our mailbox. How much more and longer can this go on? When you tell the guy in the post office, he says he never gets any complaints or hears anything like this. Keep in mind many people have been complaining. He says his mail carrier lady is the best there is because she is conscientious and stands the mail up in the box, as if mail standing up in the box is some kind of noteworthy thing. I’m not sure who he’s referring to, but that is not what the mail carrier from the Clinton post office is or does. Please get a mail delivery person who can and is willing to perform the job.
