When I got completely embarrassed and yelled at by the worker telling me to watch my mouth when my phone was being slow and under my own breath , I said my phone was being retarded , and she legit flipped on me. Telling me to watch my mouth and I even apologize and asked her, what did I say cause I didn't even realize what i said wrong.. I meant nothing by it far as offending anyone..MayBe people need to look up the actual original terms before getting offended. It's a sad that this world will take one word that meant something and turn it into something that's offensive. If I would have said my phone was being slow or stupid , would i've gotten the same reaction from her. That word means the exact same thing. It originated from technology and automotive terms of being slow. So technically , I actually used it even in the right terms in the situation... It was not directed towards absolutely anyone , except for my phone.... obviously being that she was offended ..she definitely could have handled that in a different more professional matter.. so unprofessional to yell at a customer to watch their mouth when they didn't even curse with tons of other people in line , who knows what those all those people were thinking.. how absolutely embarrassing. I will no longer go to the cedar crest store again. 😡
