If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. The Albrightsville Post Office is hands down the worst postal service experience I’ve ever had. Packages and mail go missing constantly. Valuable items seem to “disappear,” and when you check tracking it conveniently says the item was scanned as delivered even though it never showed up. Once that happens, good luck getting any help—because actually reaching someone there is nearly impossible. Phone calls go unanswered and there is absolutely no effort made to help recover missing packages. Another major issue is how the mail arrives. So many envelopes show up looking like they’ve already been opened or tampered with, as if someone was trying to see what was inside. It’s incredibly unsettling when you can’t even trust that your personal mail is being handled properly. What’s even worse is their complete disregard for people’s privacy. When someone receives the wrong mail, their “solution” is to just leave it sitting out on the counter. I’ve personally seen confidential forms and documents with people’s full names, addresses, and personal information exposed for anyone walking in to see. That is completely unacceptable. Between the lost packages, mail that appears tampered with, zero accountability, and blatant disregard for customer privacy, this place is a disaster. It’s honestly sad that residents in the area can’t even trust their own post office to deliver mail safely or securely. This post office needs serious oversight and major changes, because right now it’s doing a terrible job serving the community.
