- SKSpeedy KsApr 12, 20211.0We have had a PO box here for 20+ years. We check our mail every week. Our PO box is due once a year. They usually send a bill as a reminder for payment. We NEVER received a bill and or a so-called secondary letter they said they place in the PO box if you box fees are past due. So, they locked our box without ANY bill reminders and or letter of non-payment. We have NEVER been late! We discussed with the new post master there explaining this issue. They refused to reopen our box until we paid their late fees & new lock fees. We asked them why we had to pay these fees and they explained that the post master did place the bill & past due letter in our mail box. Which we NEVER received. We requested proof of this and the post master rudely said “provide us proof you check your PO box weekly” It a shame the USPS has resorted to even worse service and wonder why they are losing business. Such POOR service. We have NEVER not paid in 20 years. USPS PO Box users beware of this and fraud that USPS is trying to make money off of its customers by not providing bills so they can recover late fees. Terrible!
