Update Feb 2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to the Post Master, who actually took the time to drive up to our property to make sure the package box was within the perimeter of the rules. She must have addressed the issue, because our pkgs are being delivered correctly. Since then, it's been pretty good, except for the 1st PKG after the last complaint, the post person delivered letters to the mailbox and instead of driving up to the package box they decided to walk across the street, up our driveway about 20 feet and laid our packages in the muddy pine needles, under the tree, in the rain. Ridiculous. So, we talked to the Post Master AGAIN. 🫤 It's been good since. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For the Post Master. 2024: According to the USPS official website "...the delivery point is within 1/2 mile of the line of travel AND has a passable road, the carrier should attempt to deliver it. Otherwise, the carrier will leave PS Form 3849 and the customer will have to make arrangements to obtain the item". Our box for package delivery 0.4 miles from the road and there is more than enough room to make a u-turn to exit.UPS, Fed-ex, and Amazon deliveries are never diverted and they have no problem turning around to exit. I'd give them zero for delivery if I could. The actual post office is a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We have had nothing but problems with our packages not being delivered if they're too big to go in the actual mailbox on the roadside. The postal delivery person is constantly stating that they have "tried" to deliver packages, but the box is "full". That is an absolute fallacy. We have a mailbox on the main road, but we also have a delivery box established on our driveway, which is within the perimeters and the rules set forth by the USPS. We constantly have to drive all the way out to Yamhill post office to pick up our packages because the mail delivery person refuses to drive up the to the designated package box. The worst thing is, not only do they refused to deliver our packages to an established box that no other delivery company has a problem delivering to, but they lie and state that they tried and the box was full. 90% of the time it is not full. Also, when we order a product we include delivery specifications at check-out, which state : if the box is full place packages on designated palette or on top of the box and cover with the tarp that is provided inside the box. To make it even easier we've had signs specifically made and posted stating just that.

Postmaster literally lies, denies responsibility and doesn't do their duty or responsibility. Consulted family lawyer too understand legal rights but for 25.00 package isn't worth my time and stress. They gave package wrong address but tracking number said was my house. So buyer wouldn't refund. Once postmaster receives a package, it's their legal responsibility too deliver correctly or contact the seller. People all over town tell me their similar events. I recorded both our conversations with phone and my camera 24/7recording proves everything I said is truth too BTW and records my mailbox full time proving I never received package.

If you want to mail a letter you have to give it to them. It's not their fault they have weird hours. It's the government's fault. Vote #PaulReubens2020
