I’m writing to share my deep frustration with the experience I had at your location while attempting to have my late father’s mail forwarded to me—a task that should have been relatively simple and handled with sensitivity.
Unfortunately, I was misinformed and given incorrect paperwork not once, but three separate times. Each time I returned, I was blamed for the errors despite following the instructions provided by your staff. This not only caused a significant waste of my time and energy but also added unnecessary stress during an already difficult period in my life.
To resolve the issue, I ultimately went to a different post office downtown Salem, where the process was handled correctly on the first try—highlighting the clear lack of training or attention to detail at your location.
Additionally, the employee who initially assisted me was extremely rude, dismissive, and unwilling to take accountability or make any genuine effort to resolve the issue. It was clear he was more interested in deflecting responsibility than actually helping.
I strongly urge your management team to review the training and customer service standards being upheld at this location. No one should have to go through what I experienced, especially when dealing with the affairs of a deceased loved one.

I will never do business at this post office. And it is only 2 blocks from my house. The Older Asian lady is extremely rude and the supervisor will watch her rudeness. They really need to be retrained, coached on customer service and social skills.
