- SHSherri HermensNov 18, 20251.0Sisters, post office used to be a really nice place. That is not the case anymore. In the past few years I have had more poor interactions with their staff than positive. They have sent packages back, lost packages after putting a yellow slip in my box. The latest… I went to pick up my package yesterday and was told it was large the employee couldn’t get to it until sometime after noon. I was the only one in the lobby. Went back today, handed my slip to a different person. My package weighed less than a pound, and was small enough to slide across the counter. Large?? Unacceptable, I feel like most (not all) of the employees act like they hate their jobs. Very sad for our small town!

I dropped off a package with an eBay generated USPS label like I've done before 100+ times at this and other PO locations with no issues. Somehow the package was lost, before it ever left the building - it was never scanned. Employees told me I had to wait two weeks before it could be "officially" considered lost. But, since it was never scanned, they automatically have no responsibility for the package as I have no proof that it was in their possession. Ridiculous. Now I'm out $25 for the value of the lost package, and got a negative review from my eBay buyer. Other than that, in general the employees' customer service skills range from acceptable to inexplicably surly.
- DDdonbonpooponJun 27, 20222.0Staff is sometimes friendly. However, most of the time it seems a customer entering the lobby creates an inconvenience for staff. One particular employee seems to hate her job. Shes so dry and passive aggressive it's uncomfortable to go in when shes working. If you're local, you know who I'm talking about. Mail delivered isn't sorted until the next day due to their shortage of staff, which I understand since my work has the same problems. If they weren't so short with locals and quick to dismiss a customer who wants their mail the day it's delivered; I would give a better rating. I can't in good conscience suggest doing business with this establishment.
