- RERichard EvansMay 17, 20191.0I had a package sent by Amazon to a vacation rental house in Rockaway. I even wrote a note to the mail carrier which I taped to the door with the date, my name, my signature and an explanation stating I wanted the package left at the doorstep. The mail carrier took my note and returned the package to the Post Office. I tried to call the local number and only got a fax line. I tried to call the national number and the recording stated there would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. Unbelievably bad service. I can't wait for all of my Amazon deliveries to come by Amazon carriers.
