Visited Redmond post office to complain and was told that they must have placed the key in someone else's mailbox and they couldn't do anything about it.

All because they can't stay in their van? Its unprofessional, messed up and totally unacceptable, they put a 10 day hold on my families mail, even tho the picture showing what's acceptable for the mailbox is what we have irl, if the drivers are this bad at their job they shouldn't work for the legal mail system that is in charge of delivering my bills, items and checks
