Staff is rude, uncoordinated, and just really rude!! Mail carriers apparently get to decide if they want to deliver your mail and packages or not. I have to go in once a week to pick up what they refuse to deliver. I have to make 3 or 4 trips because THEY LOSE everything. They have no organization, so even if I provided tracking info, they often ignore me and don't give me the package or say they can't find it. Don't try speaking to the staff. You'll get glared at and threatened to stop delivering your mail all together. Really nasty, ugly people.

This is the kind of small town post office that employs people who will go out of their way to mishandle, lose, misfile or misplace your mail, if you're not a local. It's a shame because they have some good people, too, trustworthy people. There should be some kind of, like, oath or something, that they have to swear by. Hmm...

Need to call? Spend 2 hours on the phone with an automated system that is absolutely trash. Anytime I get a package through USPS here, it somehow never arrives yet always says delivered. Considering I have a ring camera that looks over my mailbox and front porch, I know they haven't been delivered. Also, I'm curious how it's says "inside residents mailbox" when it was a parcel twice the size of my mailbox. I'm tired of calling and telling them it never arrived and then indicating the packages were probably stolen. Nope, they kind of have to be delivered to be stolen. Also, I've lived here for two years and at least twice every week I receive someone elses mail and have to return it. I'm also tired of getting notices that my mail cannot be delivered because it's "blocked" well it's a busy street and I can't help that there is no parking for the entire street, so when they have to get out of their mail truck to do their job and deliver the mail, they instead walk up and leave a notice that they couldn't deliver because it was inaccessible.....inside my inaccessible mailbox?

Absolutely horrible customer service, mail carriers steal packages and mark as delivered. It’s a common occurrence nowadays. Government ran businesses are constantly stealing from regular people. Multiple articles have been written. Use FedEx or us if possible. They are much more helpful then the usps the Prineville “postmaster” is not helpful at all.
