- AAAriFeb 19, 20251.0Don’t live near Oak Grove Postal Office in Portland, Oregon. Arrived and asked for a form to fill out. The post office closes at 5:30 pm. I was there at 5:08 pm. I was told by the male employee that they don’t have time to process my small package. I told him that I have at least 20 min. Was turned down. Another customer comes in with a package and they happily assist her.

When I leave a missed delivery notice for them as I didn't know I HAD TO SIGN FOR IT (ridiculous), with HUGE instructions to ring the doorbell twice and WAIT until I answer it (as evidently they have a 5 second wait time from what the postal carrier told me), I expect it to be done - not to deliver the mail and not deliver the package. Not everybody works within their hours of operations either, why I have to sign for this package that should not have a signature required is ridiculous. No wonder they're losing money.
