- EEEli E1 day ago1.0If you are moving to 97206 please, be aware: -I submitted a mail forwarding request through usps on Dec 5 with payment, received a confirmation on Dec 6 —As of January 4th i was still not receiving any mail to my new address -Went in to post office. they could not find record of the online forwarding order. they would not accept my confirmation email. they had no record of where my mail has been going the past month. -They suggested i start the mail-forwarding process over again in person. then let me know starting it over will require 1-2 more weeks to process + coming back in person to prove my identity. -I submitted a request with USPS coporate and (1 week later before hearing back) the forwarding i submitted online magically works. -I’ve moved every year for the past 10 years and this is the first time this has ever been a problem. I pray this is a fluke and not what USPS will be like moving forward Godspeed.
