Actual post office is good; delivery this last couple weeks has been absolutely horrible!
Multiple packages left out in the rain (Without Being covered by a plastic bag), packages dumped at the side of the road, and two packages completely damaged. All in the last two weeks.

The absolute rudest postal worker I have ever dealt with. Every time I come in she is rude to me, today she informed me I couldn’t ship something because she is closing in 2 minutes, ok but you’re not closed yet? So I have 2 minutes to ship something. But no she was unwilling. Then she helped the 4 people in line after me. Even now where it is after 5 pm she is still helping the customers after me when she denied helping me. Last time I needed one piece of tape and she required that I buy a whole role. The time before I asked for help with priority mailing to pick up a box to ship a scarf to Portland, later I find out I could’ve done it for much cheaper but I didn’t know which box to pick and she suggested the one that ended up costing me over $20 just for a little scarf. I typically try to be understanding of people having a bad day, but these are the only experiences I have had with her and every single time she has been rude to me. Other than to check my PO Box or pick up my packages I will go elsewhere. It is worth the drive to go to Winchester.

I love Oakland Post Office. Because it is small you hardly ever have to wait and the staff are always friendly and patient unlike some other post offices I’ve been to. They’ll know you by name and always ask how you’ve been and take an active interest in their customers. I’ve never seen any of them get grumpy or irritable ever even though I bring in a lot of mail for them to process every week.
