Very unreliable mail service here in Monmouth the last few years. Where do I start?
-We’ve mailed things through the Monmouth post office indoor mailroom drop box that have not gotten delivered.
-We frequently get mail for completely different addresses in our locked mailbox.
-***When we had a mail hold for a few weeks while we were out of town last summer they somehow completely lost it.*** (We get informed delivery, so we know what many things we SHOULD have gotten while we were gone.) Who knows who all has our personal information now?
-When I mail things to Junction City, it now usually takes literally a WEEK, and the person receiving my mail says it is always postmarked from Portland…. That makes no logical sense.
-I’ve written “return to sender, address unknown” on multiple pieces of mail that were for the former tenant of our address. Many months later we keep getting mail from the same companies, for the same former tenant. Is the USPS just tossing these?

The employees are great, the reason I had given a 3 star rating is the difficulty l have with the doors, being in a wheelchair. They are hard to open, they are heavy, and, they shut with some force. They say that because it's a rental they can't put automatic doors in... since when does the U.S. Government need permission to do ANYTHING????

Won’t deliver mail or packages to our community even though we have community boxes - have filed 14 OIG postal Office Complaints and 5 congressional complaints - don’t let civil servants not do their job - advocate for yourself and our community - also the post master and Dave the clerk need training on how to do their jobs -

Always kind, always friendly. I deliberately use this location instead of there one in Independence specifically because of how pleasant the people are here.
