These people are absolutely useless. We have had issues with the mail carrier since we moved in. Now our mail is being returned by the mail carrier back to companies like our power company. The carrier has left unnecessary notes in our mailbox. We have had to come up there numerous times over the past month and a half. Absolutely nothing has been done. Today I was told that the carrier told her that she never returned anything from the power company. Yet here I am with emails from the power company saying that my power bill was returned by the post office.

What is the point of trying to deliver something to someone’s door if you don’t even knock and try to get them to answer? Today our mail delivery person “tried” to deliver a package to our apartment door and then proceeded to leave a note saying no one answered. Well I was there all morning and not once did I hear a knock. For future references if you aren’t gonna do your job and knock on the customers door then maybe you should just leave the package at the post office so when I see your stupid pink note and I drive to the post office it will be there. Little frustrating when I had been there all day waiting for said package and they don’t have the decency to even try to get someone to answer the door by knocking. Also the ladies at the front desk are kinda crotchety.

Guy at the counter is rude and treats you like you are stupid. Worst customer service. Everytime! That's putting it nice. I now go to UPS.

They need to let go of the older man who's worked here for at least 20 years if this many people are writing complaints about him. Monday, May 20, 2024: The desk lady has a bad attitude towards me as always. The delivery driver returned my package to the post office. It's not that hard to find my mom's mailbox... not to mention the item contains two packs of greeting cards I bought. The card holding box for the one was all banged up on the top. Thank goodness the cards itself weren't banged up. It's basically nearly 100% of the time I receive packages in a bubble mailer. This bubble mailer was super thick, too, and wrapped on the inside, so why did it happen?? 🙄 I wish I could do more free returns to USPS rather than Fed-Ex. So many are transitioning over to using Fed-Ex. There is no Fed-Ex drop-off location in Lebanon anymore, so I have to use gas money to go to Walgreens in Albany or to one of two locations in Corvallis. Gas has not been cheap for awhile. It's a real inconvenience monetarily. I don't want to have to do everything with Amazon.com so I can do returns in town. I want to do it with other websites so they stay in business and keep getting support.

So after ordering my package on friday 1 day usps priority it's now Tuesday. I got alerts at 4 and 5 am that package was in Salem and then arrived in Lebanon at 5am. At 12:05 pm I get an alert that it just arrived BACK IN PORTLAND where it was a day and a half ago. Called the post office only to be able to talk to an automated system that only told me what I already knew. Complete incompetence.
