Walked in to purchase a passport. Was in and out within 5 minutes! Took my picture and payed and was on my way. The lady working the counter was very pleasant. Great customer service!

It seems like the Post Office gets bad reviews no matter the location. I can't speak for other places, but my experience with the Harrisburg PO has been great. Friendly, helpful, and haven't had any issues with mail going astray. It must be a job with many challenges (based on the number of complaints everywhere), but I really appreciate it being an option for mail.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Sad to say our Federal postal service is seriously declining in customer service. I had a package delivering to my family today (In Harrisburg)and when I checked the status this morning it had been returned to the post office because the address was incomplete? I called to find out what this was about and the manager answering the phone said they don’t deliver that far - Even though they live right off the main hwy, in town less than 1/2 mile from the post office. I asked her why when I put the address in on Amazon, it allowed me to request delivery there if they don’t deliver there - she was extremely rude and could only offer to put it in the P.O. Box for my family to come get it. Since I didn’t know their P.O. Box, there was nothing that could be done. How are people supposed to know that the USPS doesn’t deliver to certain houses on certain streets in town, when they are not the local customers? Thinking Amazon should have made their contract with UPS or FedEx - they don’t seem to have these delivery issues!
