I bought a package and my package has been sitting in the Grants Pass postal service for almost 3 days. If they haven't contacted me, they haven't said anything. It's just been sitting there.

The problem with the USPS is in the mismanagement of the organization as a whole. Over the last few years as they've sunk further into the red, they've cut corners starting with labor hrs and staffing. The current staff has had to do more with less for so long that the attitudes are showing in every area from late home delivery to long lines and poor customer service in the post office itself. It is no longer a quick trip or pleasant experience running to the P.O now it's become a chore and usually a regrettable experience that stems from 20-45 min in line because they have one person on counter. I recently brought a package in to be mailed and was told it needed to be taped a little better. In times past they would have either done it for you (customer service) or handed you a roll of tape. I looked at the tape and asked if I could borrow it, I was promptly told no, they have it for sale in the lobby which resulted in losing my spot inline!
