- HGHolly GolightlyMar 9, 20265.0I’ve lived in Depoe Bay for about eight months and have been consistently impressed with the gentleman who works the counter at the Depoe Bay post office. Every time I’ve gone in—about six or seven visits so far—he has been friendly, professional, and helpful. I also called once to ask about a package and received assistance beyond what I expected. Our mail carrier also does a great job delivering both our regular mail and the steady stream of Amazon packages that show up at our house. He delivers with care and does his best to place packages where they won’t get rained on. The postal service usually only gets attention when something goes wrong, but in eight months here I haven’t had a single issue—which tells me the people working both at the counter and behind the scenes are doing their jobs really well. For a small coastal town, the level of service here is genuinely impressive. When things run this smoothly, it’s easy to forget how much work goes on behind the scenes. Thank you to everyone at the Depoe Bay location—you make getting the mail look easy, and it’s genuinely appreciated.
