- ESEric Schweitzer6 days ago1.0My wife has a PO box and when we were gone for an entire Summer she went down there and had it forwarded to our new address , but they got confused and instead all of our mail for the whole summer got returned to Sender.! Wow what a mess that was. The next summer we did the same thing and sure enough they made the same error but of course we were checking them and caught it. It's a sorry State of Affairs at the United States Postal Service I'm afraid.
