CROOKS!!! I used to pay $289 a month and am now paying almost $400, they unethically took items off my account when I wasn’t present and bundled it with my daughter’s account. Then I felt forced to go in and when I did even though I didn’t care to upgrade my phone I told Raj, all I care about is not having a bigger bill and he assured me he’ll fix everything up so the payments are the same but we’ll have upgraded phones, instead I ended up with over $100 more per month in bills that I can’t afford. Save yourself the trouble and Elmo he and GO TO THE BAYSHORE instead this isn’t even a flagship bell store.

Absolute scam. After I write this review, I will do anything to assure that this store is held accountable for what they've done to multiple customers, and will be returning to Telus after this. I recently purchased a new phone through Bell, and have now encountered multiple issues that can no longer be counted on 1 hand.
1) Raj roped me into signing my mom up for a "deal" on Internet and TV without her there. I thought it was a genuine deal that she would want, but we ended up saving next to nothing. On top of that, they transferred all of our internet and TV bills into my name instead of my parents. This is incredibly scummy to do without them there to authorize it.
2) I have been double-charged twice under a Deferred Amount Fee, which I understood I would only be paying if I wanted to keep my old phone instead of getting a new one. Upon speaking to support about this, I was told I would be charged this $160 fee on top of my bill TWICE. Once my money is taken, I can request a refund. I was only told about the $75 activation fee. Never have I encountered so many fees from a phone company.
3) They had me sign up with Affirm, a third-party loan company. And guess what, it does affect your credit score despite them telling you it does not. They mislead you, signing up doesn't affect credit but it will once signed up.
4) I signed up for automatic payments. The first payment was automatically taken from my account. Now I am paying a late fee because they did not automatically take my second payment out. This same thing happened to my mom and a friend, it is a persistent issue.
5) They use AI support, which makes the dispute process even more frustrating. I tried twice to get the bot to understand what I was trying to say. For the love of god, if you are going to use AI services at the expense of paying humans what they're worth, at least have the service be good.
6) I did want to keep my old phone, as I was led to believe it was paid off. If I could've done that without paying $400 upfront, I would have. It's how they rope you into being stuck with them.
Safe to say, I will not be returning as a customer ever again, I will ensure everyone I can knows that this store scams people, and I am incredibly frustrated.

10/10 customer service and care there was a gentleman named Vishno that supported me with my issues. He dealt with numerous customers at once with a calm caring manner , he really took the time to invest in all clients. The management were very sweet and personable. Huge thank you 🙏!

This Bell store left me seriously concerned. I called the day before to ask about the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and was told they had a few phones, but the only silver one they had was open box. The next day, I called again to double check they had stock before driving over. This time I was told they had one phone in the whole store, a silver model.
When I arrived, it was clearly the open box phone I’d been told about the day before. The security tabs were peeled, the box was held together with an elastic band, and the phone was missing the proper packaging. It looked like a returned phone.
When I asked directly if it was open box Phone, the employee, “Raj” denied it and got defensive. He must not have realized I was the same person who had already been told it was open box the day before. That felt extremely dishonest and misleading. Very scammer vibes!! Someone else will unfortunately be sold a used phone at full price by the sounds of it!
To make things worse, the plan he offered was terrible compared to what I got at Freedom, where I left with a sealed, brand new phone and a much better deal.
Trying to pass off an open box/returned phone as new for full price is not acceptable. Luckily I didn’t fall for it, but someone else will. Customers deserve honesty. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location, and bell/virgin in general.
