- HAHamza AshfaqOct 10, 20251.0I was a Bell customer for only two months, and it has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any service provider. My agreed plan was $75 (about $86 after tax), yet Bell never charged me the correct amount. • First, they charged a so-called one-time fee of $168 without any prior notice. • Then, after I set up direct debit to receive a $10 discount, they attempted to withdraw $188, again far beyond my plan cost. • When I found out about these unauthorized charges, I immediately switched providers—within just one day. After cancelling, I received a call from Bell where they clearly informed me that my account was settled and Bell actually owed me $5, confirming there was no outstanding or negative balance. Despite this, in October, I received another bill by email—even though I no longer have any active services with Bell. This is completely unacceptable and feels like harassment. I will be submitting this complaint publicly and posting my full experience at all Bell branch locations. If necessary, I am fully prepared to involve legal action and a lawyer against Bell’s fraudulent billing practices. Bell must stop these unjust and unauthorized charges immediately.
