  My computer stopped giving signal to my monitor abruptly and I called this place which immediately took my computer in and offered a free diagnostic. After ordering a replacement part and finding out it was not the right part, they provided a full refund and got the right part to fix my computer. Kaleb was incredibly nice and knowledgeable and gave me excellent service and constant updates for my pc. Really glad I trusted this place with my computer! Thank you Kaleb!

  For months my gaming laptop screen has been on the fritz. I have to open and shut it 3 or 4 times before it will turn on and when it does it flickers like crazy. I have to move it around to find the sweet spot where it will work. I finally decide I can't live like this and should get it repaired. The first place I took it to was close to where I lived and was recommended by someone in my neighbourhood FB group. They said it would be $100 for them to open it up and assess it. The guy was also really pushing that the whole screen would need to be replaced. I had serious doubts and bad vibes (especially when he asked me to put in my password and didn't turn the screen around or look away when I did) so I left. Best Buy would assess it for free but it would require sending it to Toronto. I really didn't like the idea of being without my laptop for 2 weeks. I found Geeks Know This through a Google search and decided to go because of their good reviews and because their website said they offer a free no-obligation repair quote. I walked in and was warmly greeted by the person working. I explained my issue and the technician said they would take it to the back to have a look. 5 minutes later they come back and said it's fixed. It was only a bent cable and because it only took 5 minutes they wouldn't charge me. I was floored. Really? Are you sure! I mean I'm just thrilled it's fixed and am happy to pay something. They said no but, if it gives me issues again bring it back and they could replace the cable. The friendly prompt honest service makes me highly recommend them. It was well worth the trip out of my way to go there. I will definitely back with any other future issues. Thank you again so much!!!! It seriously made my day.

  I brought my Desktop for a power issue, not starting anymore. Immediate test done, just a simple adjustment needed and I was told what to do if it happened again. No charge. 5 minutes in the place. This is excellent service. I will come back but for now I can recommend this place.

  I optimized BIOS settings and computer wouldn’t run. They diagnosed it as a missing driver issue and fixed it in 37 minutes for 66$. Friendly staff and straightforward explanations.
