- EMEric MorganDec 1, 20251.0⚠️ ⚠️Small Business Fraud Alert!!! I visited the Bell store at Shops on Don Mills to get a new phone. The store manager, Kavian, set me up with a new phone and account. A few days later, I realized that my account had been set up as a small business account—even though I do not own or operate a business. This was done without my consent, and I believe it may involve fraudulent activity. I never authorized any small business registration or the corresponding credit check that comes with it. I am now in touch with Bell’s corporate team and my legal advisors to resolve this matter. I’m sharing this to warn others to carefully review their account type and documentation before leaving the store. I hope Bell looks into this issue seriously, as this experience has been extremely concerning.

I managed web ops and work in tech, but there are things that are much better in person. Kavian spent time with me to port a number from Rogers and also to restructure two existing lines. He helped me find discounts that were not available on line, was patient with all my questions, and took time to explain all details to me. At the end of the session, I ended up saving money and walked out with two phone upgrades.
