The representative who assisted me asked for my address to check availability, and I provided my driver’s license since I hadn’t yet memorized my new postal code. After learning that the only service available in my area was a 50 Mbps wireless plan, I decided not to proceed and planned to explore other providers, as I previously had much faster service. The following day, I was surprised to receive a notification about a hard credit inquiry from Bell Canada. At no point did I authorize a credit check, and I am very disappointed that this occurred without my consent. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with both Bell and the staff at this location.
