- HZHaafez ZizouNov 1, 20251.0I got a new mobility plan from this Bell store. The plan qualified me for a phone upgrade - I got the Ahlo 1 phone for $1/month for 24 months. The phone would essentially cost me $24 at the end of the term. They charged me $56.49 (purchased 12 October) for a case for the phone. I found a much cheaper case from Amazon for $8 prior to opening the package of the phone case. I stopped by the Bayshore Mall Bell location (25 October) to return the accessory, which was never opened. They said due to a new policy, returns could only be processed at the location of purchase. I stopped by the Kanata location (1 November), the one under review. Malik stated that they cannot process the return as it has been over the 15-day return timeline. I explained how I was well within the 15-day period when I stopped by another Bell location. He conferred with his Assistant Manager, Mohamed, who also denied the return request. Very unhelpful and irrational employees. I subsequently called Bell Customer Service, who agreed with my reasoning, even suggesting that the accessory could have been given to me at no charge, given that I had signed up for a plan and a phone with them, and especially when the cost of the accessory was unreasonably higher than the cost of the phone itself. I think these employees would benefit from a refresher training on customer service from Bell Corporate.
