- JPJ. ParkNov 10, 20251.0Burlington Mall BELL rep, lied to my senior citizen mom, to sign her into a 2 year contract with high installation, equipment and monthly fees. If you are trying to decide on a provider for internet, cell phone - anything - AVOID BELL. I called to fix the matter since my parents do not want a contract, and "Lovely" (name of the Escalation Rep at Bell), told me that BELL is justified to entrap older senior citizens into agreements they don't understand, because they "are adults" and signed on. Wow. I wont go into details but suffice to say that BELL is a scavenger that preys on seniors, on those whose english is not good, on anyone for money. 'Lovely' is apparently an 'escalation rep - the BELL call centres seem tobe in the Philippines which is fine, except that they do not care about North Americans lives in the least. Bell should be ashamed. Horrible, customer service reps who are inflexible and hostile. A billion dollar company making cash off of unscrupulous staff who push seniors into long term contracts they don't understand. The staff at Burlington Mall - whoever it was - should be ashamed. I'm sure they work on commission and are pushed, to push services. Once you sign on - regardless if you are aware what you are signing - they will gouge you as long as they can.
