They don't like that here apparently as I am always asked to stay. I can never just run in drop them and go, despite having labels and all being weight correctly if not over. I came once and was in a hurry. I dropped them and asked - is it OK if I leave these here? (like every other post office). He said yes. But they were never scanned in. over 10 orders, 24 hours later no scans. So I had 10 more to drop off the next day, and drove out there to ask what happened to them. The guy LIED. Told me - oh it was crazy (it wasnt) I must have just put them in the bin without scanning them. OK so why 24 hours later is there NO SCAN on a SINGLE ONE? Must be magic i guess. Well the next day (2 days later) I see all 10 of those orders he scanned in and lied to my face. That means he did NOT put them in the bin, which is why 24 hours later - nata. He scanned them in the next day - what a jerk. Only go if you're running past the normal time and ENSURE you stay and watch each one, no matter the line.
