However, today I went to mail two letters and encountered the most condescending clerk ever. I told her I wanted the letters weighed for postage and she just told me to buy stamps to mail it. I was trying to explain what other post offices do and she continued to cut me off while repeating “I’ve worked here for 23 years and that’s not how we do it.” The other clerk attempted to help me, but she cut him off as well. Then when I was leaving she started making fun of me “not knowing how to buy stamps” with the customers in line behind me. Glad I’m heading back to California tomorrow.
