I had some desks ordered off Amazon with delivery fulfilled by USPS and was notified with a “mailbox full/ oversized item” email and not delivered to my address. After scheduling a redelivery I heard nothing for 8 days until today when I was called asking if I could come pick them up. I’m a younger man so I am capable and don’t mind but I was told they were incapable of delivery due to the size and weight. Either USPS should be denying shipping service for items this big or hiring the right people capable of the job. What if I had been an elderly man and wasn’t capable of picking up and unloading the packages myself? It’s not reasonable to take on shipping the item but then retroactively say you are incapable. I do appreciate the communication that eventually came from the office so I could get my package. (Also I applied for a mailbox key here over 2 weeks ago and still cannot access my mailbox so I’m not sure how they expect me to see any notice left in my mailbox)

I cringe every time I see USPS is delivering my package. By far the worst carrier; packages are rarely on time. For example, an Amazon package arrived at the Westerville USPS facility at 6:10 AM, at 8PM that evening the package has been rerouted to a different address. The facility is literally five miles from this house. How do you screw this up every time?
