The post office in West Jefferson, Ohio, has to be among the worst in the country. Every time I see a tracked package land at this location, I have a heightened level of anxiety about whether I'll actually receive my package and what condition it will be in when it arrives, if it arrives. Just a few weeks ago, two packages arrived at that post office at the same time, according to the USPS tracker. One of the boxes came to my east central Indiana residence 2 days later, and the other is still sitting there. When I called about the package, I was told they were short-staffed and that I would have to wait to see if the package starts moving. I would need to talk more with the shipper, because they don't typically talk to the receiving party and would prefer to hear from the shipper. So, to find out anything about this package, I have to call one understaffed business and ask them to call the post office, only to be told the same thing they likely told me: it's luck. That's just one example of several problems I've encountered at this facility. I really wish organizations would give us the option to choose our delivery provider, because I would stop using USPS altogether.

I get a message saying packages are delivered but not there when I check mail, this happens quite often, complaining doesn't do any good

Delivery person seems to have a problem putting packages in the wrong mailbox, packages never arrive on time (if they arrive at all ),I have had to file several missing packages complaints, had to start having my packages delivered to a friends house in Columbus, all my packages arrive on time and in the right mailbox ,entire staff needs to be fired

The alleged Post Master Ben is unfriendly and should not be in a position dealing directly with customers. 2nd time in as many weeks had to deal with the POS. I let it go the 1st time, however this is the second time he has been unprofessional towards me. He essentially accused me of stealing the free priority envelopes. Refused to stamp fragile on my package more than once. Refused to let me take the package I spent over $40 to mail to the London office. I have a real concern he is going to damage my package. I just got off the phone with USPS Customer service and filed a complaint. Ill go the few extra miles to London next time. Everyone there is beyond professional and extremely friendly.
