I’d definitely like to sue for discrimination. My case worker went ghost on me for weeks. I left multiple voicemails and emails. Whenever she was in touch she only gave reasons as to why I couldn’t receive funding and every time I found a solution she’d go ghost again I haven’t heard from her in almost two months and all she’s done is discouraged me from trying to attend the class I’d like to attend. It’s weird that I can’t receive funding because I don’t have a drivers license when the schools in walking distance I can’t drive because my collar bone is broken and before that she told me my W2 summary didn’t count as pay stubs. My class is even doing a shuttle bus options this year so I’d be taken to and from class. She hasn’t helped me in the slightest. And I think it’s odd how this company can help worker get jobs without drivers license but I can’t get the funding for my class. She says it’s not a necessity to have one they just want to know if I’ll be able to make it too and from class. I expressed to her when I’d be getting my car and license and what’d I’d be doing to make it to and from class until then. But I broke my collarbone and I still can’t get the funding because I can’t drive even though I’d really like to drive I physically can’t. I’m a black African American female with locs so yes I’m highly suspicious of racism being involved.
