  The store manager, Bernard, at the UPS location on Mayfield – 13940 Cedar Road, University Heights, Ohio 44118 truly made my day. His customer service has always been five-star, even before we met in person, but officially meeting him today while handling business there was a breath of fresh air. Hearing his upbeat energy, experiencing his willingness to help, and seeing that servant-hearted spirit in action—listen, that’s rare. And it matters. Today, tomorrow, and the days to come. So kudos to you, Bernard, manager at the Cedar Road UPS Store. You are seen, you are appreciated, and your work does not go unnoticed. Keep it up, brother. And I pray your team continues to embody that same uplifting spirit.

  Tried to ship a document to Hong Kong. This UPS store representative asked for postal code. Hong Kong does not use postal code. For years I never had to know or to provide such info to ship to HK. I explained to her and asked the clerk to look it up. She refused and said she can’t help me if I do not know the postal code. Such poor service

  This review is not a reflection on the people who work here. Everyone here is lovely and understanding. This is directed at UPS as a company and its confusing and misleading marketing of services. First of all, the price of shipping was nearly double in store than The UPS Store calculator shows online. The price to overnight something was $96 in store, but I was quoted $40 less online. The retail location could not honor the online price. They were surprised to see that the calculator was labeled The UPS Store, which I just learned is different from UPS itself. Apparently this is common knowledge? Maybe among people who use UPS frequently, but I’m only an occasional shipper. I had no idea this was a thing. They were stumped and had no way of adjusting what the online system tells them to charge. Second, the services are different as well. I wanted to overnight by 10:30 AM, which is what was advertised on the online calculator, but the in store system offers 12 noon. I was in a very tight bind so I had no choice but to take the more expensive services and be on my way. This isn’t a five dollar difference; nearly double the price is ridiculous. Again, this is not the fault of anyone who works here. Everyone here was very kind and helpful. But this is a heads up to anyone who thinks that they’re getting one thing as explained on the UPS website and they’re actually going to get another. Call the store directly to get accurate quotes. Do not rely on the UPS website. Which seems a ridiculous thing to say in 2025.
