- TBTanya BoydJan 29, 20261.0The female carrier who occasionally delivers around Forest Ave and adjacent roads near the car wash should seriously reconsider her behavior. This street is home to a few very elderly and handicapped residents. While sidewalks should be cleared, she repeatedly refuses to deliver mail over the slightest inconvenience, even when there is barely a dusting of snow. After a major storm, I personally spoke with a woman in her late seventies with no family, struggling to clear her walk solely out of fear that she would not receive her mail if this one women carrier was delivering. I have also personally witnessed her being rude and dismissive to residents on a clear, sunny day while visiting a family member. In contrast, the regular male carrier is kind, patient, and compassionate. Thank you to him. As for her, the community and caregivers are now paying close attention. One can only hope that when she reaches old age herself, the way she has treated others comes back to her threefold. A job serving the public, especially the vulnerable, should come with decency!
