WHY IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SO TERRIBLE??? I genuinely don't understand why this place always has a long line with only one representative at the counter. C'mon it's the holiday season, don't be a Grinch and to the post master --- maybe staff the counter properly.

I live in Georgia and my children live in Springfield, Ohio. Every time I send a card to them it never arrives. That means missing checks and/or cash. If you want to send something and it has to go through the Springfield Post Office I was told by the post master, that I should pay for the tracking service. It has been 12 days since I mailed my granddaughter her birthday card and it still hasn't been delivered. This is a normal 3 -5 day delivery. I have complained about this over and overand nothing sends to get done. I should NOT have to pay anything additional for them to simply do their job.

My tracked packages are in delivery for up to a week at the Springfield Post office. My packages are being opened, and the Mail carrier makes excuses about my dog that is contained in the house and alerts us of someone being outside the house. My last package was delivered between 2 and 4 am on October 4th.

By far the worst post office I've ever had the displeasure of relying on; two times they misdelivered my ID that I've been waiting for in the mail and so now I have to hope they deliver it to a different address I gave them and if they again misdeliver it, I get to deal with the BMV. I've had packages misdelivered quite often over the years where I'd lose items I bought from ebay or something, but this time it has created problems with the BMV for the sin of not getting the ID I went up and renewed on time, paid for, etc. despite the post office being responsible erhm... irresponsible. So now I'm mad enough to leave a negative review. Unfortunately if you live here, you're kinda stuck but if you have any other means to have things delivered and live in Springfield, I hate to say it but until this office can get itself together, you may want to consider FedEx or some other method of delivery especially if what you're waiting for is crucial. An embarrassment to the United States Postal Service as it stands as I appreciate the USPS as one of the few good services the US government provides to the American people at a relatively low cost versus corporate options, but this office is just really this shameful.
