So the Salem Ohio Post Office employee, she is known as clerk 11 on the survey, tried to scam me today. I have mailed my holiday cards at that postal office for years, with no problems. And all my cards have the wax seal stamp on the back. Clerk 11 had the audacity to try and charge me for every holiday card. Her reason? The wax seal can't go through the machine. I called her out on her lie, by informing her: "I have always mailed my holiday cards here and never had a problem with the wax seals. And the only times I was ever charged extra to mail a holiday card, is if it was heavy. When did wax seals become a problem for the machines?" Clerk 11 says: "Its always been like that." My reply: "Really? Then why didn't you tell that last year when you mailed off my holiday cards....with no extra charges or problems?" That's when she tried to backpedal her response. She then says: "Well we can mail these, but they might get shredded." My reply: "Well you better make sure that doesn't happen. That is the responsibility of the post office and its employees, correct?" She had no reply. I did inform her that there was one card that I would paying additional postage on, because it was heavy with extra cards. I ended up paying .28 cents. Clerk 11 wanted to charge me .87 cents for each card, which did NOT happen. Clerk 11 gave me my receipt and told me about the customer review survey, then wished me a Merry Christmas. I told her that I would be more than happy to complete this survey, and inform them of my experience today. Then wished her "Happy Holidays". I have been mailing holidays cards for years at this post office. This was the first time I ever experienced such unprofessional, disrespectful, and deplorable service. I was also shocked at the 1 star reviews on here. I had no idea this post office had such problems, until I experienced it today.

The level of misconduct in the branch is horrifying. The fact that my tax dollars go to Barb and Julie makes me sick at night. You are two disgusting excuses for humans. You’re disrespectful you’re rude and neither of you deserve to be employed anywhere, especially not funded by the people you screw over on a daily basis. I hope all of your lives get progressively worse (I mean you already work at the post office how much worse can it get?) but still somehow worse. I hope each of your toes are stubbed repeatedly every time you waddle your big rumps to the bathroom. You don't deserve peace at night. I hope there’s two feral cats that fight out of your tiny apartment window all night for the rest of time. You deserve nothing more.

Mail courier marked my address as vacant for an unknown reason. My package was sent back to the vendor within a few hours of them sending my package back to the post office, leaving me no time to rectify the situation as I had tried to retrieve the package personally the same day. Made only worse by the rude woman working the counter offering no consolation of any sort but rather speaking to me in a harsh manner for no good reason. Very unprofessional and inconvenient
