I am disappointed to be writing this review. This UPS store, from top to bottom, has many major issues. Ever since new ownership has taken over (about 1 year ago), this location has had a carousel of rude and unknowledgeable staff. I've recently spoken with the owner who also doesn't understand standard UPS processes. This, paired with an unwillingness to contact UPS corporate (or franchise leadership) for support, has made every experience at this location abysmal. Finally, they don't answer the phones, causing multiple unnecessary trips to this location just to have the same outcome and rude staff interactions. This UPS store was functioning more as an active day care than that of a business support center.

I spent over 30 minutes, trying to get the system to work and it would not happen— Had to call the online health center and they finally got the photos to work, but then the fingerprinting wouldn’t work. The UPS staff well pleasant are not motivated at all to help as it is not their equipment and they don’t know what to do with it and we’re not interested in helping. I don’t blame the UPS employees but does not seem like a clear partnership. It should be outlined better. And overall, the system just needs to work. Will not come back here for this purpose.

The UPS Store #1164
To the Owner / Manager
1209 Hill Road, Pickerington, OH 43147)
RE: Complaint to Store Owner –
UPS Store #1164
Subject: Missing Packages
No Notice of ownership change, and unacceptable Service – I have rented a P.O. Box at The UPS Store located at 1209 Hill Road, Pickerington, OH 43147) since around 2014. Until recently, I never had any problems receiving my mail or packages. until after the store was sold. The P.O. Box holders were given notice of the ownership change, remodeling, closures, or service disruptions.
Since then, my packages confirmed delivered on January 6 and January 12 by USPS and Amazon have gone missing. I never received any pickup notices in my box. When I picked up an Amazon package on February 6, I was NOT told about any other packages delivered for me in January. I only learned about those missing packages when the sender contacted me. When I tried to reach the store by phone, no one answered. When I visited during business hours, the store was closed without any signage. I later faxed the UPS store, and did received a fax response stating the store was under construction and their computer system was down. When I returned to the Store (I observed packages stacked in random piles with no organization - for tracking purposes, obviously no customer care was important or implemented.
I was told I would be contacted once the computer system was working. (she would call me by 10am the next day). That never happened. NO CALL. I am requesting immediate assistance locating my missing packages and a clear explanation of how this will be corrected.
If my packages cannot be recovered, I expect guidance on reimbursement or next steps.

If I could give zero stars I would. The UPS store on Hill Road in Pickerington OH has been recently sold. No notice given to P.O.Box holders. I have had a P.O. Box at this location since about 2014 (12 years maybe longer - since it first opened). Never had ANY issues sending or receiving my packages/mail, until recently. I have confirmation that packages were received or January 6th and January 12th, however the new owners cannot find my packages. First thing is I never received a notice in my box that I had packages for pickup. The former owner ALWAYS put a notice in the P.O.BOX to notify me. Also, when I was in the facility to pickup a package that I had ordered for myself on January 27th via Amazon (I received a notice from Amazon tracking that the package was delivered on February 4th) I picked up the package on Saturday, February 6th. There was no notice in my Box, plus I noticed that the building seemed to be going under remodeling - (although it looked more like they were going out of business) so I asked; and that's when I was informed that there was new ownership. SURPRISED. So when the new employee/owner handed me my package (she was friendly) - but I was ONLY given the package that I ordered. She never told me about or gave me any additional packages that were received by The UPS Store in January. Only way I knew that I had additional packages was the person who sent them called me to ask if I received them, they were concerned because I hadn't acknowledged or thank them for the gift (this was on Sunday). Needless, to say first thing Monday when they opened I tried to contact The UPS Store by phone. No answer, so I went by the facility during my lunch break - Only find out they were CLOSED- sign on the door said closed beginning February 9th through February 12th (mind you I was just in the facility on Saturday and there were no signs, nothing was said to me, nor anything in my PO BOX informing customers that they were going to be closed for any length of time).
As I looked through the window I could see someone was in the building, it was the same person I saw on Saturday - who handed me the package that I had ordered from Amazon. So I knocked on the door and she got up and went to the back room. So I went back to work, and decided to email and fax them my concerns about my missing packages delivered in January. She responded to my fax. They are under construction and her computer system was down and she had no idea where my packages are. Well, I went to the facility, and both of us looked through the randomly piles of boxes that were stacked with no particular organization at all. She said she would keep looking, and also when the computer system was up and running (which should be by 10am the next day) she would contact me. I have not received a phone call, email, nor text message. The chaotic mess of the facility and the lack of notification to po box owner's regarding packages received makes me believe I am not the only customer who is experiencing this problem. This is no way to run a business.

Unfortunately, I have to remove my long standing 5-Star review and leave a negative response. From 5-Star down to a 2-Star. I've tried to calling the business for quite some time, to no avail. There's never an answer. You have to leave a message. I just wanted to speak to a member of management to report an incident with a rude employee. So here I am retracting my 5-Star Google Review. I'm attaching a picture of the employee.
