- PPPaul PettinatoAug 29, 20231.0One of the more unprofessional places I have ever seen. After meeting the Post Master, I can see why it is ran so poorly. I went to the post office because didn’t receive my mail for 5 days. Thinking it was fraud, I spoke to Post Master and my mail Carrier who also happened to be there. I was told that since there were cones at the bottom of my driveway, the mail carrier could not reach the mailbox which is by the roadway. When I asked them why I was not notified of this since I had bills/other mail I needed, they deflected and blamed it on the height of my mailbox. The attitude and response of both was not only pure ignorance, but an extreme show of how unprofessional the Post Office has become There were cones in the exact same spot for a month earlier in the summer and the mail carrier delivered the mail. The cones were also in place for the past 10-12 days and the mail was delivered until 5 days ago. The mailbox has been in the exact same place for 2.5 years and nothing was ever said about it being too low. All of this said, it is unfortunate that this is the best the Post Office can hire. Instead of a normal response which would be notifying the customer you had their mail/leave a note in the mail box, you keep the mail and then justify your poor response with an unrelated reason. Both snickered when I said I was filing a complaint which again demonstrated the lack of professionalism the Post Office employs. Who knows if the Post Office will do anything but I will absolutely be filing a formal complaint for the in appropriate behavior/delay of mail.
