It was a Saturday morning. I spoke with Jessica. I tried 5 times calling into the McAurther post office to see if it was possible to intercept a piece of mail that I knew was coming today, due to I am signed up for the USPS mail tracking app. I live in a rural area and cell service I admit is shotty at times.
That is why, I tried calling 3 out of 5 times using our Hughesnet wifi calling. After the 1st initial call and Jessica being not able to hear me on my At &t service. That's when I tried my wifi calling. Twice, she let the phone ring until it went to a fax. I used to work for a phone company and know the distinctive ring differences. I tried the wifi calling twice and got the fax. I went to my front deck the 1st 4 calls, finally I thought ok I will go to the back deck and try again. This time I used the wifi calling, and after Jessica actually anwsered the phone, my first statement was that I was using my wifi and that there was a 3 second delay.
She says to me mam, you need to quit calling , I have more important calls coming through and you need to call when you have better service and she hung up the call. Point is, my wifi would have been fine had she taken the time to listen for 3 seconds!!! When she hung up, I knew she disconnected, because my wifi stays connected until someone terminates the call and I know I didnt hang up! I especially am not satisfied that my call wasn't as important as anyone else's call, she hadn't even heard why I was calling, and I am not sure she even got my name. Besides this call, We also are experiencing late delivery. I am talking days! Not hours! I don't believe it is a carrier issue. I think it is an office issue.

this post office has the worst carriers and other employees i have ever had the misfortune to experience in all of places i have lived. not only do they miss-deliver other addresses' mail to us, but they have a history of not delivering items and leaving items in the worst areas. Even with all this dissatisfaction, I have never been so disrespected until today! I called about a package that amazon showed was delivered. the woman i spoke with was not friendly to start, but i would imagine it to be a stressful job, as any customer service job can be at times so i was patient. I explained that we get this package every month and that this time it was not delivered. she said the carrier must have it. i explained that the tracking information says it is at the post office as of Saturday at 7am and there have been no updates since (12pm Tuesday) she checks again and asks if i had a po box. i said no and offered the tracking number, her immediate response to that was "well i have to get to that page first" and when she was ready for the tracking number i began listing it off. halfway through the tracking number she YELLS "HOLD ON HOLD ON, GO BACK TO 88" so i finish reading the number slower than i had been. after a brief silence she said here it is. i will have them deliver it tomorrow, it must have been too heavy. i said thank you and asked "we get this package every month, what changed?" and she immediately became defensive and stated that she just started working here and said "ma'am don't take that tone with me" which really frustrated me, as i was the only one in the conversation with any sort of patience regarding my undelivered package. this lead to both of us yelling and now i can only hope they don't retaliate by not delivering more of my mail. Whoever this woman is, should find another job. if she can't handle a missing package inquiry without losing it she is not fit to serve the public in any capacity. I have been treated better at a gas station.
